My home was broken into during night time last week. ( Lagos Nigeria) Everything was stolen from me. The thieves were able to enter my bank account through my cellphone. So not only were my belongings stolen from my apartment but my bank account was emptied of my all my savings. My mom needs surgical removal of a huge fibroid and I had money saved up for this purpose.
My apartment is no longer safe and I can’t any longer pay for my moms needed surgery.
Things are different in Nigeria. I had no insurance. And now since I have no funds I can’t even pay for lawyer fees etc for my case to be handled.
I am left homeless, without any money nor any kind of support system. Â Â Â

On February 9th, 2025, while I was asleep in my home, thieves broke in and took everything. They stole my belongings including my phone, emptied my accounts, and left me with nothing. I woke up to a nightmare, completely stranded and helpless. I’ve reported it to the police, but there’s been no progress. I’ve been trying to stay strong, but the truth is, I’m struggling. What hurts the most isn’t just what I lost—it’s that I was saving for my mom’s crucial surgery. She has a massive fibroid growing in her stomach, and now, the money I worked so hard to set aside for her is gone. With reluctance I’m creating this fundraising, hoping for kindness and support. My mother doesn’t have time to wait. Please, if you can, help me get back on my feet and give her the medical care she desperately needs. Every little bit helps.
